Day 1: Arrive in Kathmandu (Altitude 1400 m)
Nepal Big Mountain Travel believes in persistence and belongingness. On day 1, arrival day, a representative in formal attire with garlands (Mala) and traditional Buddhist ceremonial scarf (Khata) will welcome you. This is a traditional welcoming gesture of Nepalese. The representative will guide you to the hotel. You can wander around the streets of Thamel and explore shops during the late afternoon. Then, a cultural dinner is presented overnight at Tourist Standard hotel in Kathmandu or similar class.

Day 2: Drive from Kathmandu to Pokhara (5-6 hours)
New daylight begins the day and you will have your breakfast early in the morning. Then, you go on an interesting long drive of 5-6 hours to Pokhara from Kathmandu. You will engage in observing the beauty of Pokhara passing through Himalayan Rivers – Trishuli, Marsyangdi, and Seti. The high current of the rivers offers you a prospect of rafting which can be your next possible destination of another package we offer. During the afternoon, you can go boating in Fewa Lake. You observe the panoramic view of Macchapuchre, Annapurna, Dhaulagiri, Manaslu ranges. At evening, you can see the pleasant view of the sunset as well and capture the moment in your camera. You stay the night at tourist standard hotel in Pokhara.

Day 3: Drive from Pokhara to Phedi and trek to Dhampus (Altitude 800 m)
You begin with your breakfast, then, you go on a 30-minute ride to Phedi on a private vehicle. Your day in Phedi will be an adventurous hike to the scenic views. That is climbing through beautiful forest and countryside for the next 3 hours to reach the hilltop named Dhampus. The quiet, serene and amazingly beautiful Dhampus provides a view of gorgeous peaks. This shall include the Annapurna range, the Fishtail, Dhaulagiri, Hiunchuli, Lamjung Himal and other peaks. The mountains Annapurna and Dhaulagiri are kept under top 10 highest peaks in the world. You will spend overnight at Dhampus.

Day 4: Trek to Australian camp to Sarangkot (5-6 hours)
You emerge from the area of Dhampus from where you can enjoy the panoramic scenery of Annapurna, Macchapuchre, Dhaulagiri and Lamjung Himal. You will move up towards the 2100m altitude. You will start gently climb up through the rhododendron and oak forests until reaching Pothana which takes about 1 and half hour. You are thrilled with the climbing up with stone staircases until reaching Australian Camp which takes about 1 hour. When you accomplish today’s goal of reaching Sarangkot, you gain the reward of the mesmerizing view of the sunrise over the White Mountains of Whole Annapurna and Dhaulagiri Ranges including Fishtail from the Sarangkot tower. You spend the night at a teahouse in Sarangkot.

You will spend some quality time at the Lake Side. You can enjoy boating in Fewa Lake and a religious trip to the temple situated in the middle of the lake, Tal Barahi, giving you a feeling of a religious island. If you want to be drawn aback by boating in the serene lake that covers Sarangkot and Kaskikot as well as gets a bonus of soothing your eyes with the view of the reflection of Mount Macchapuchre, Fewa Lake awaits you in Pokhara.
